New LA Kings Rbk EDGE Jerseys

I found these pics of the new Kings jerseys. The quality’s not great, and I couldn’t find any official announcements on LAKings.com, but I’m sure some promotional pics and news will be coming soon.

While poking around for pics, I came across this little nugget at LAKings.com:

“The Kings then travel from Salzburg to London, England, where the Kings will open the 2007-08 NHL regular season at the new O2 Arena with two games against the Ducks on September 29 and 30. AEG, the parent company of the Kings, owns and operates the O2, Europe’s most state-of-the art entertainment venue.”

those pics are from the draft party the Kings had…saw the jerseys over there…looked okay…different but okay..the RBK Edge all star jersey feels real good tho…a lot lighter than the Reebok they used last season.

Hey Rob, thanks for the info. I agree, the jerseys are okay… not great, not awful, just okay. Good to hear that the jersey feels a lot different - guess it’s not all marketing hype.

Well I think RBK started out on the right track with the Bruins and Caps but now as more new NHL designs trickle in, It seems they have been possesed by vertical striping and other “sleek” innovation in designs as well…

The Kings new duds look pretty good. Not as bad as Nashville’s and much better than Florida’s

yeah…the vertical striping make the jerseys look like the practice jerseys.

What’s the difference from the new RBK LA Kings Jerseys from their most recent. Their is no different in the disign, just a different cut and make but no difference in the look. Am I not right?

There really isn’t a difference in the design except they took the stripes at the bottom of the jersey off. I have some RBK game used jerseys from the Kings and Lubo’s Edge All-Star jersey and the difference is in the weight and feel and texture of the jerseys. The Edge jersey feels a lot lighter than the 05-06 and 06-07 RBK jerseys. You can feel the difference between the CCM replicas and the RBK game issue jerseys because the RBK jerseys feel a lot heavier. So you can compare that to the Edge jersey. But overall, the look is pretty much the same, but the feel is different.
